The Henry Arts Alliance will present its 17th annual "Christmas With The Arts" program.
The two-hour performance will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m., at the Henry County Performing Arts Center, located at 37 Lemon St., in McDonough.
Admission is $5.
"This is the most rewarding and fun activity that we get to work on," said Henry Arts Alliance President Lynna Schimdt. "We celebrate with all levels of talent, from dance to poetry, from 6 years old, to 80. That's what makes this so wonderful."
The show will feature some of Henry County's best dance schools, solo and duet vocalists, full choral groups, and literary presentations, said Keith Sweat, marketing and public relations representative for the Henry Arts Alliance.
In addition to the stage performances, the Performing Arts Center gallery will present the Visual Arts Collective's annual Christmas competition, said Sweat.
Six artists will be recognized for their visual accomplishments, and their work will be judged by Fran Hampton, owner of Hampton Gallery, in Greensboro, Ga. To involve everyone in the visual arts portion of the event, attendees are invited to choose their favorite artist, he said.
At the conclusion of the performances, Sweat said, all award winners will be recognized, including the "People's Choice" award winner.
Tickets are available in the center's lobby, and can also be purchased online at www.henryartsalliance.org.
