State Board of Education member, Mary Sue Murray, is scheduled to hold a public forum on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 7 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the Clayton County Public Schools Central Administration Complex, located at 1058 Fifth Ave., in Jonesboro. The purpose of the forum is to get public input on state education policies and performance, from residents of Georgia's 13th Congressional District, which Murray represents on the state board. The Everett Music School is offering a Music After School Program for local children, at the school's new location at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Campus, at 230 Ga. Hwy. 138, Bldg. B, in Riverdale.
