Darling, Hermine Age: 79
Passed Away: 2010-12-10 Funeral Home: Hermine Darling, 79, passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010. She was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Ansbach, Germany, where she met and married her late husband of 58 years, Harold J. Darling. Hermine is survived by her children, Erika and husband, Lee Barlow; Harold and wife, Carol; Lotte and husband, Harry McComsey; Konrad and wife, Domini; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lotte, Gertrud, and Elfriede, residing in Germany. Her greatest joys were her husband, spending time with her family, and cooking wonderful meals. Hermine’s contribution to the family business will be greatly missed. Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m., TODAY (Tuesday, Dec. 14), at the home of Konrad and Domini Darling. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Alzheimers Association, The American Cancer Society, or Longleaf Hospice, 2712 Lawrenceville Highway, Suite 200, Decatur, Ga., 30033.
