Brenda McKinzie Jan. 13, 1950 - Dec. 10, 2010 Beautiful Wife, Beloved Mother, Everyone’s Maw Maw, Amazing Woman Mrs. Brenda McKinzie, of Forsyth, joined her Heavenly Father on Friday, Dec. 10. Her presence here on Earth touched the lives of all who came to know her. From her many years at Waffle House and the last few as the “Concession Stand Lady”, “Miss Brenda” will be missed by many. She leaves behind her husband and soulmate of 40 years, Dannie “Ray” McKinzie; son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Wendy Hunley of Jackson; four daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Jerry Rafferzeder of Forsyth, Sharon and Billy Sorrow of Jackson, Teresa and John Bueter of Flovilla, and Ellen and Devin Bowen of Forsyth; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Alvin Hill of Forsyth; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Winnie Miley of Griffin, and Raymond Miley and Vicky Mosely of Knoxville, Ga. She loved and cherished her seven grandsons, nine granddaughters, and her great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday, Dec. 13, at Liberty Baptist Church in Jackson with the Rev. Arthur Jett officiating. Music was provided by Liberty Baptist Church and her granddaughter, Destiny McKinzie, sang “Amazing Grace,” one of Miss Brenda’s favorite hymns.
