Tanksley, Frances Black Age: 85
Passed Away: 2010-12-17 Funeral Home: Mrs. Frances Black Tanksley, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on Dec. 17, 2010. Mrs. Tanksley was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Forest Park, and after 40 years of dedication, she retired from Ford Motor Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Tanksley. She is survived by her son, Alan Black, of Peachtree City; granddaughters, Alison (Kevin) Churchill, of Freeport, Fla., and Katie (TY) Tyson, of Acworth, Ga.; great-grandchildren, William Reese and Laurel Churchill, Kendyl Tyson; brother, Hubert Dennis, of Powder Springs; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 3 p.m., in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Phillips Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.
