Passed Away: 2010-12-18 Funeral Home: Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel Catherine B. Thompson Catherine B. Thompson, who was lovingly called, “Granny T,” died on Saturday, Dec 18, 2010. She is survived by her children; James (Sherry) Thompson, Martha (Jack) Curtright, Sandra Tate, and Sammy (Gina) Thompson; sister, Joyce Marie Martin, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Her family received friends at Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel on Sunday, Dec 19, from 4 p.m., to 6 p.m. Graveside services were held on Monday, Dec 20, at 2 p.m., at Jonesboro City Cemetery, with Pastor Howard Perkins officiating.
