Barnette, Helen Age: 84
Passed Away: 2010-12-20 Funeral Home: Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc Helen Barnette Mrs. Helen Barnette, 84, of Riverdale, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2010. She was a member of Heatherwood Baptist Church, and retired from the Clayton County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dozier Barnette, and son, William Robert “Bob” Barnette. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Lynn Barnette, of Jonesboro; granddaughter, Ashley Barnette, of Marietta, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m., in the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Lowe officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, in College Park. The family will receive friends TODAY (Wednesday, Dec. 22), from 5 p.m., to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
