Nearly 50 choral students, from James A. Jackson Elementary School's School of the Arts, sang with lifted voices, and in unison for Clayton County Public Schools administrators, during a performance of their "Once Upon a Housetop" multicultural holiday concert program recently.
School district officials, who work in the school system's central office, were invited to come to the lobof the administration complex, Friday, to hear the children sing holiday songs from various cultures around the world. They also got Clayton County Public Schools Chief Academic Officer, Diana Carry, to join them playing the guitar as an accompaniment to one of their songs. There has been a renewed push this year to get more exposure for Clayton County fine arts students, both inside, and outside of the school district. — Curt YeomansMore like this story
