Two games were played at at the Region 4-AA tournament Tuesday night.
Both Henry County teams will get begin their quest to advance to the Class AA tournament tonight in Macon,
In girls action, the N o.-2-seed Henry County Ladyhawks take on No. 7 -seed Southwest Macon at 4 p.m.
Henry County enters the event with a 17-5 overall record and an 11-2 mark in region play.
Both Henry County's region losses game against top seed Northeast Macon.
The Ladyhawks lost 43-41 in the first meeting, and 47-44 the second time the two teams played.
The tournament takes a one-day hiatus on Thursday. Tournament action resumes Friday, with the winner of the Henry/Southwest game playing the winner of the Putnam/Monitcello contest at 4 p.m.
Also on Friday, The Northeast Macon/Howard winner takes on the Central Macon/Greene County winner at 7.
The winners of Friday's game are guaranteed a spot in the state tournament. On Saturday, the consolation game will be held at 4 p.m. and the title game at 7.
In the boys half of the bracket, No. 6-seed Henry County takes on No.3 seed Southwest Macon.
Henry County enters the game with a 10-14 overall record and a 5-9 record in league play.
The winner of the Southwest/Henry winner takes on the Central/Howard winner Friday at 5:30.
Saturday's boys consolaton game is set for 5:30 and the title game will be played at 8:30.
