Tom Davidson & Sons, a contractor for the Clayton County Water Authority, will be working on a sewer pipeline rehabilitation project in downtown Jonesboro Friday, Feb. 26, and Saturday, Feb. 27. It will involve rerouting traffic, intermittently, on South Main Street. Traffic will be rerouted, as needed, in both directions, just south of the College Street intersection. The work is part of the water authority's Rum Creek Force Main Rehabilitation project, which involves replacing the sewer pipes that run from the Rum Creek Lift Station on Walt Stephens Road, to the W. B. Casey Water Reclamation Facility on Flint River Road.
