Missy is a nine and a half year old Shepherd mix. She has been fully vaccinated and spayed. Missy is a past member of the CCHS family; having been adopted out way back in 2002, when she was only two years old. Missy lived happily with her new family until 2009, when both of them passed away. There was no family willing to take Missy, so she landed back at CCHS. Missy desperately needs to be adopted as quickly as possible. At her age, she wants to be an "only pet" so that she can have all the attention that a new home and family can offer. Missy is a great dog, who does not understand the sudden upheaval in her life; and she certainly does not deserve or need to spend her "golden years" in an animal shelter. There is a special adoption fee in place for anyone interested in giving this great girl a proper retirement home. If you can help Missy, please call Clayton County Humane at 770/471-9436.
