The Henry County Warhawks baseball team improved to 1-1 with a 17-6 victory against Morrow.
Freshman Corey Seymore was the winning pitcher. Henry County's offense exploded as Patrick Seymore and Keyon Dukes each finished with three hits and three RBIs. Josh Childers also had three hits and drove in a run.
Aaron Denney also added two hits, including a triple.
Dutchtown 12. Woodland 2:
Dutchtown's Trey Nelson was the winning pitcher in Friday's opener with a five strike outs.
Jarred Arrington was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two doubles.
Josh Conner had two RBIs as Dutchtown head coach Michael Breedlove made his coaching debut for the Bulldogs.
Brandon Bell had a triple in the winning effort.
Woodland scored its runs on a passed ball and wild pitch. Woodland committed six errors in the game.
Caleb Ashbaugh led Woodland with a 2-for-3 performance.
North Clayton 14, Riverdale 4:
Chris Nutter had five strikeouts and also helped his own cause with the bat as the Eagles won their opener.
Nutter was 2-for-3 with the bat, including a double a single and four RBIs.
