A McDonough man, who had been missing for several days, has been found dead in Locust Grove.
The body of James Franklin Townsend, 68, was found Monday afternoon in an undeveloped subdivision in Locust Grove, according to Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton. The captain said Townsend was "an apparent victim of suicide." The Georgia Bureau of Investigation had issued a Mattie's Call after Townsend was reported missing over the weekend.
