Authorities are attempting to identify four home-invasion suspects, who reportedly were seen wearing fake police uniforms when they allegedly robbed a local resident.
The incident took place at approximately 5:30 p.m., Thursday, at a home on South Mount Carmel Road in McDonough, said Henry County Police Sgt. Rene Swanson.
"Four suspects followed a woman into her driveway," she said. "The woman said they were dressed in black clothes, and fake-looking police costumes."
Swanson added that the suspects entered the home, stole a laptop computer and cash, and fled the scene.
No further description of the suspects was available Friday. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Henry County Police at (770) 288-8200.
