Henry County Police need the public's help in locating a woman who is accused of using stolen checks to shop at businesses in, and around, Henry County.
The suspect allegedly took the checks between June 14 and June 17, during a burglary on Bear Creek Boulevard, in Hampton, according to Police Capt. Jason Bolton.
"The victim's checkbook was stolen and the checks were used fraudulently at several locations, such as the Publix in Locust Grove and Riverdale, the QT in McDonough, the Rite Aid in Griffin, and the Lighthouse Restaurant in Milner," Bolton said. "The same female appears in each video making the purchases."
Bolton described the woman as being in her mid-to-late 20s, about 5-feet, to 5-feet, 3-inches tall, and weighing 100-115 pounds.
Anyone with information on the suspect's identity or whereabouts, is asked to contact Henry County Police Detective Laura Moretti by phone at (770) 288-8388, by FAX at (770) 288-8232, or by e-mail at lmoretti@co.henry.ga.us.
