Kerri is a 2-3 year old Burmese mix. She has been spayed and all vaccinations are current. Past owners did DECLAW her. Kerri is a gorgeous cat, and officers at Animal Control allowed Kerri to spend extra time at their facility because they were certain that someone would be looking for such a beautiful animal. However, Kerri became extremely depressed and she refused to eat or drink for nearly a week. Concerned for her health, Animal Control asked CCHS to remove Kerri and try to get her back on track. Kerri immediately went into a foster home, and she did very well there. Shortly, Kerri was adopted and taken into a new family. This family had other cats who made Kerri very nervous and defensive. After Kerri's new mom decided that no one was really settling in as she had hoped, poor Kerri was once again sent back to CCHS. Kerri is now in yet another foster home, and is hiding under furniture. This pitiful baby needs to settle into a real home, and she needs some patience and consistency......moving her around every month or so is really taking a toll on her. Kerri will do best in an "adult only" home, and would probably do best as an "only cat". For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531.
