Stark United Methodist

Stark United Methodist Church will offer a Wednesday Night Family Fellowship Meal today (May 26), featuring taco salad, from 6 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 per adult and $3 per child, or not more than $15 per family. Stark will also be hosting River of Life June 9 through June 13, including a River of Life Celebration on June 13 at 11 a.m. The church will host vacation Bible school from June 21 through June 25, and is selling bricks for the Stark United Methodist Church Memorial Garden for $45. New Horizon

The New Horizon Ministries will present "Five Strong Men - In Tough Times - Preaching the Word of God" on May 30 at 2:30 p.m., at LaQuinta Inn and Suites in Locust Grove. The event will include five ministries from Butts County: Nathan Gordon, Anthony Lamar, Reggie Morgan, Trently Roberts and C.J. Watts. Refreshments will be served.

Jackson First Baptist

From June 6 to June 10, the Jackson First Baptist Church will host Saddle Ridge Ranch vacation Bible school, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Activities begin Sunday at 4 p.m. The Inspirations, which includes Jackson native Melton Campbell, will be performing in concert June 4 at Jackson First Baptist Church at 7 p.m. The church is located at 1227 West Third St. Call (770) 775- 3102.

Gospel Truth Mission

Gospel Truth Mission Seventh-day Adventist, at 917 East Third Street in Jackson, will host a Searching for Hope Spring Revival May 27, May 29 and June 1 at 7 p.m. The event will offer free clothes, food, free gifts, free health information, gospel music and free Bible lessons. Abundant Life Church's vacation Bible school will be held Monday, May 31, through Friday, June 4. A yard sale and barbecue, scheduled for June 5 from 8 a.m., to 2 p.m., will benefit the youth department. Sellers can rent a spot for $5 and tables are available for $10. Barbecue plates will be $6. Liberty Baptist Church, on May 30, will host Youth Sunday at the 11 a.m. service. The youth will go to Dauset Trails for lunch and fun immediately following the service.
