Police have few leads in a shooting early Monday morning in a Riverdale subdivision that left one man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim, as well as witnesses, aren't talking about what happened, according to police.
Gunfire erupted around 2 a.m., at the Woodbridge Landing subdivision, located off of Taylor Road, according to Clayton County Police Department Spokesperson India Smith.
She said the shooting occurred at the subdivision's clubhouse on Creekstone Way, where a "large party" was taking place.
"People rent that place out, so I am not sure what kind of party it was," Smith said. "I'm not sure if people were inside, or outside, when the shots first rung out. Only one person was struck. He was shot in the chest. It was non-life threatening.
"No one has been cooperative at all, even the person who was shot in the chest wasn't cooperating," Smith added.
"To everybody, it seemed it was a laughing matter."
Smith did not name the victim on Monday, but said he is "in his twenties."
This morning, the victim was being treated at Southern Regional Medical Center, she said.
