The parade route for the 46th Annual Fourth of July Parade and Barbecue, hosted by the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge, has been changed, according to Lodge Master John Hallman. The parade, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., on Saturday, July 3, will start at Government Circle in Jonesboro, near Rum Creek Park, as oppossed to starting at Jonesboro Middle School. The change, according to Hallman, has been made to accommodate a high number of political candidates expected to participate in the parade. Parade participants can begin lining up along Government Circle at 9 a.m., and the parade will head south on North McDonough Street, ending at the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge, located at the corner of King Road and North McDonough Street.
