Four Clayton County police officers have been fired over allegations involving inappropriate conduct, according to an Atlanta TV station.
WSB-TV reports that the officers are accused of overlooking corruption by colleagues, supplying drugs to those involved in sex parties and engaging in sexual activity on the job.
Police spokeswoman, Lt. Tina Daniel, told the station the firings were the result of an investigation by state and federal law enforcement officials. "We did partner with the GBI and FBI on this, and there was some very damning information," she was quoted as saying.
International Brotherhood of Police Officers' Attorney Kliff Grimes told the station that three of the officers are members of his group, and that from what he understands, the investigation was flawed, and they plan to fight to keep their jobs.
