A man wanted on a rape charge in Clayton County was arrested, Tuesday, in southwest Georgia, the Clayton County Sheriff's Office said.
Terry Lee Jones, 42, was wanted in connection with an incident dating back to July 28, 2009 in Riverdale, according to Sgt. Sonja Sanchez, a spokeswoman for the Clayton County Sheriff's Office. She said Jones was arrested Tuesday in Georgetown, in Quitman County, by members of the Sheriff's Office's Fugitive/Investigations Unit and U.S. Marshals. She said Jones was also wanted in Cobb County on a felony probation-violation charge stemming from a drug conviction, and on misdemeanor warrants from two other agencies.
