Special Photo Police are attempting to identify this man, in connection with a shoplifting case at a Stockbridge Wal-Mart store. The suspect reportedly took a large-screen television from the store last month, without paying for it.
Henry County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying, and locating, a suspect who allegedly stole a high-end television set from the Wal-Mart store at 5600 N. Henry Blvd.
Initially, Police Capt. Jason Bolton said on March 10, that the suspect bought a 46-inch, LCD television with cash. "The suspect later stole an identical television using the receipt from the earlier purchase," Bolton said.
A police report of the alleged theft, prepared by Henry Police Officer Andrew Craig, states that the suspect was one of two males who entered the store at 11:32 a.m., and walked to the electronics section to buy a Sanyo flat-screen TV, valued at $648.
"About 20 minutes later, they returned, and one of the males got another TV ..."according to Craig's report. "They exited the store without paying for the second TV. [An employee] said the purchase was made with cash, and he did not notice the theft [until] afterwards."
Police have obtained video-surveillance footage of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Henry Police Detective Randall McGlamery by phone at (770) 288-8136, by FAX at (770) 288-8138, or via e-mail at rmcglamery@co.henry.ga.us.
