Clock ticking on CSU application deadline

Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock.

That is the sound of the clock ticking down for people who are considering attending Clayton State University in the fall, but have not yet submitted their admissions application.

The university announced on Wednesday that July 15 is the deadline to apply for admission for the fall semester. Potential students must have their applications, and all related documents, such as transcripts, and test scores, in the hands of university admissions officials by that date, according to Clayton State Spokesman John Shiffert.

Shiffert added, in a written statement, that Aug. 1 is the re-admission application deadline for people who previously attended Clayton State, but have not yet graduated, and have not attended classes at the university within the last three semesters.

The fall 2010 semester begins at CSU on Aug. 16, Shiffert said. Anyone with questions about the admissions process, can call (678) 466-4115, for more information.
