Two Clayton State University groups devoted to alcohol and drug awareness will soon find out how many people on the school's Morrow campus are buckling up.
Clayton State's Boosting Alcohol consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students (BACCHUS) Network, and the Alcohol and other Drug Education and Prevention Team (ADEPT) will host a "Seatbelt Check" on the university's campus on May 26, from 12:30 p.m., to 1:30 p.m. The seatbelt check is scheduled to take place at the intersection of Clayton State Boulevard and Weltner Drive.
The "Seatbelt check" is being done to spread information about driving under the influence, and the importance of wearing seatbelts, University Spokesman John Shiffert said. in a written statement.
