It may not be YouTube, but Clayton County Public Schools' graduating high school seniors will have a chance to be Internet video sensations this weekend, on the school system's web site.
School system spokesman Charles White recently announced the district will once again broadcast its eight high school graduation ceremonies live from the Georgia Dome, on www.clayton.k12.ga.us/, on Friday, and Saturday.
"This initiative, now in its fourth year, allows those who cannot attend a ceremony an opportunity to watch their children, or their relatives, graduate," White said.
On Friday, the graduation schedule will consist of Riverdale High School, at 2:30 p.m., North Clayton High School at 5 p.m., and Lovejoy High School, at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the schedule is Mundy's Mill High School, at 9 a.m., Forest Park High School, at 11:30 a.m., Morrow High School, at 2 p.m., Jonesboro High School, at 4:30 p.m., and Mount Zion High School, at 7 p.m.
