A College Park man is being held without bond in the Henry County Jail, for allegedly molesting his teenage daughter.
The suspect, whose name is being withheld, is charged with incest, and aggravated child molestation. He appeared in Magistrate Court Monday, represented by the Public Defender's Office, but waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the charges against him.
Judge Robert Godwin bound the case over to Superior Court. The charges stem from an alleged incident in McDonough, April 28.
A police report prepared by Henry County Officer Glenn Turner, reveals authorities went to a residence in response to a domestic dispute, and learned of the allegations of incest involving the suspect, and his 15-year-old daughter.
An arrest warrant in the case contends the suspect, had sex with the victim.
Henry County Police Detective Isaiah Harmon said the suspect divorced the victim's mother when the girl was less than a year old. The father and daughter, Harmon said, became reacquainted in 2009.
