Clayton County Police said that a deadly shooting, in College Park, may have simply been a mistake.
According to Clayton County Police spokesman, Officer Otis Wills, a group of men were playing with a loaded gun, in a room, in an apartment. The incident occurred on Norman Drive, reportedly early Thursday morning.
After several of the men left the room, "a woman entered the room, and saw a man put a gun to his head and pull the trigger," said Willis. The shooting may have been accidental, he added.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
Officer Willis said that, as of late Friday, no one had been charged in the death of the man, and the name of the victim had not been released.
