Barger, Stetsel “Steve” Age: 82
Passed Away: 2010-11-08 Funeral Home: Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home Stetsel “Steve” Barger Mr. Stetsel “Steve” Barger, 82, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, in the Southern Regional Medical Center. Mr. Barger was a long time resident of Forest Park. A retired baker with GFS Corp., Steve loved having dinner and attending Country Bluegrass and Gospel singings with his special friends. Steve was a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sister, Bobbie Bagley, of Atlanta; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Ada Ellis Barger; two brothers, Ellis and Ronald Barger. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 11, at noon, in the chapel of Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Carden officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour, at noon.
