Celine is a three and a half year old calico domestic shorthair. Celine has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Celine has been with Clayton County Humane for several years, and unfortunately, all of that time has been spent in a cage. Celine is very frightened of the many other free-roaming cats at the CCHS shelter. However, she does fine with her cage mate, Autumn (also shown here), so we feel she is not actually afraid to be around other cats; she is just afraid to be around such large numbers of cats. She is very sweet and affectionate, and would most likely do just fine in a quiet, adult home. For more information, please call Robin at 770/478-7531. Special adoptions for Christmas
CCHS would like to announce our plans for a "Cage-Free Cats Christmas". Due to fears of other cats, or physical disabilities, there are currently 9 cats who have to live within the confines of small cages, day and night, 7 days a week. This is no way for any animal to have to live, and from November until Christmas, a special adoption fee will be in place for any approved adoption of any of our caged cats. We also have many "veteran" cats who have been with CCHS for a very long period of time, and we would also like to see these cats in homes in time for Christmas! The special adoption fee will also apply to these cats who have been with CCHS for so many years. It is the mission of CCHS to make Christmas 2010 a very special holiday, for some very special residents of the CCHS shelter. Help us to make November and December the "turning point" for some very deserving cats.
