The Clayton County Board of Education is asking county residents to donate non-perishable food items between now and Nov. 15, to feed needy families of students in the school system. The Everett Music School is offering a Music After School Program for local children, at the school's new location at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Campus, at 230 Ga. Hwy. 138, Bldg. B, in Riverdale. Through the program, youths receive homework assistance, Criterion-Reference Competency Test (CRCT) preparation, math and reading enrichment, and music lessons for piano, drums, singing and music theory.
