Bostwick, Sr., Alvin “Big Mitch” Age: 78
Passed Away: 2010-11-14 Funeral Home: Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel Alvin “Big Mitch” Bostwick, Sr. Alvin “Big Mitch” Bostwick, Sr., 78, of Hampton, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Bostwick; son, Alvin Mitchell Bostwick, Jr.; and daughter, Linda Jane Bostwick. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Bostwick, of Hampton; granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and Stan Lindsey, of Locust Grove, and grandson, Mitchell “Little Mitch” Bostwick, III, of Hampton; great-grandson, Levi Tristan Lindsey; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Carol Bostwick, and Butler and Helen Bostwick, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. His family will receive friends at Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel TODAY (Wednesday, Nov. 17), from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m., in the Chapel, with Pastor Jay Michael Fuller, Jr., officiating. Interment will be at Jonesboro City Cemetery. Pope Dickson & Son-Jonesboro Chapel is in charge of arrangements, (770) 478-7211.More like this story
