Clayton County Police were searching, Thursday, for four to five men -- two of whom were armed -- in connection with the robbery of a Jonesboro sex shop.
According to a Clayton County Police spokesman, Officer Otis Willis, the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from Starship Enterprises on Wednesday night.
Police responded to the store after a silent alarm notified Starship's alarm company. The company then called Clayton County Police dispatchers, Willis explained.
Starship Enterprises is located at 7411 Tara Boulevard, in Jonesboro.
"No one was injured in the robbery of Starship," said Willis. He added that police did call an ambulance, because there was a pregnant woman in the store at the time.
"I do not know whether the lady was an employee or customer," said Willis.
He added that she was fine, after being checked by emergency officials.
The suspects ran south down Tara Boulevard, and were seen heading toward a Black Dodge Ram, according to Willis.
A description of the men was not available, Thursday.
