Carlson, Barbara A. Age: 72
Passed Away: 2010-11-20 Funeral Home: Mrs. Barbara A. Carlson, 72, of McDonough, passed away Nov. 20, 2010. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., to the late Joe Clay and Katherine Gertrude Farr Lane. She was a member of South Metro Baptist Church and had worked for Southern Airways, and was a homemaker. Barbara was known as Bobbie and Bunny to her many friends. She enjoyed attending her grandson’s baseball games and was his No. 1 fan. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Charles S. Carlson, of McDonough; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Carlson Bedford and Herman Bedford, of McDonough; grandchildren, Tyler Bedford and Sean Maddox. Funeral services will be conducted TODAY (Tuesday, Nov. 23), at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
