Heaton, Dorothy Cochran Age: 92
Passed Away: 2010-11-20 Funeral Home: Mrs. Dorothy Cochran Heaton, 92, passed away Nov. 20, 2010. Mrs. Heaton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sunny Side and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Para Hill Cochran, and by her seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Charles Heaton; one daughter, Teresa Jolly and her husband, Ronnie; two sons, Tommy Heaton and his wife, Judy, and Terry Heaton and his wife, Sandra; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held TODAY (Tuesday, Nov. 23), at 2 p.m., in the Tara Gardens Chapel, with the Rev. Joel Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Park. Her family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.More like this story
