Eagle's Landing Christian at Clinch County

When, where: Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Donald Tison Field at Panther Stadium, Homerville.

Records, rankings: Clinch County is 12-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state; the Panthers are the Region 2-A champions. ELCA is 12-0 and ranked No. 2 in Class A; the Chargers are the Region 5-A champions.

Series: First meeting between the schools.

If you go: Take I-75 South to Exit 62 (US-82/GA-520). Turn right on Main Street and then a left onto West Orange Street. Make a right onto North Carswell Street, which will lead to the school.

Storylines: This is a matchup between Class A's only two undefeated schools. Both teams feature some impressive running attacks with Clinch County having two 1,000-yard rushers in quarterback Tray Dorsey (1,136 on 153 carries, 20 touchdowns) and running back Anthony McNeil (1,126 on 141 with 18 touchdowns). ELCA sophomore Keyante Green has 1,063 yards, his second season of going over the 1,000-yard mark. Junior John Tatum has 934 yards and quarterback Aaron Spratlin has passed for 1,271 yards and 13 touchdowns. Clinch is giving up only 10 points per game, and has three shutout wins.

How they got here: Clinch has defeated Greenville (34-6) and Miller County (35-14) in the playoffs. ELCA has defeated Washington-Wilkes (49-7) and George Walton Academy (35-12).

What's next: Winner plays the Emanuel County Institute/Wilkinson County winner next week in the semifinals.

Dutchtown at Chattahoochee

When, where: Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Cougar Arena, Alpharetta.

Records, rankings: Dutchtown is 11-1, the No. 3 seed from Region 3-AAAA and unranked; Chattahoochee is 12-0, the No. 1 seed from Region 7-AAAA and ranked No. 5.

Series: First meeting between the schools.

If you go: Take I-75 North to Exit 227 (I-675 North/I-285 East). Continue on I-285 East to Exit 31B (GA-141 N/Peachtree Ind Blvd). Take GA-141 North. Turn left on State Bridge Road and then turn right on Jones Bridge Road. Make a right on Taylor Road, which will lead you to the school.

Storylines: This is a game matching contrasting styles. Dutchtown enters with the top defense of the eight remaining Class AAAA playoff teams. The Bulldogs allow just 6.7 points per game. Only Dutchtown and Peach County (Class AAA) have yet to allow a point in the playoffs. Chattahoochee, on the otherhand, enters with the second-best offense, averaging 43 points per game. The Cougars haven't scored less than 31 points this season. Chattahoochee features an offensive line anchored by FBS prospects Matt Kiefer (6-4, 280) and Barron Dixon (6-4, 260) that averages 270 pounds. Senior QB Tim Byerly has passed for more than 2,100 yards and 27 touchdowns and rushed for more than 1,200 yards and 19 touchdowns.

How they got here: Dutchtown has defeated Thomas County Central (15-0) and Glynn Academy (3-0). Chattahoochee has defeated Pope (42-14) and Marist (31-28).
