Authorities in Henry County arrested a McDonough man for allegedly having drugs and a sawed-off shotgun at his home.
Hubert Tuskaleaero Peavy, 26, appeared in Henry County Magistrate Court Friday, represented by the Public Defender's Office.
Judge Robert Godwin set Peavy's bond at $25,000, and bound his charges over to Henry County Superior Court, according to court records.
Peavy is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
An arrest warrant in Peavy's case states that Henry County Police arrested him Thursday at his home on Sable Chase Boulevard in McDonough.
"[The] defendant unlawfully possessed a 12-gauge, Springfield shotgun, with a sawed-off barrel of approximately 16 inches," the warrant states. "[Peavy] possessed four baggies of marijuana, scales and extra baggies, and admitted to selling marijuana."
Peavy, the warrant continues, was also found with trace amounts of cocaine in several baggies.
Additional details on Peavy's arrest were unavailable from Henry Police Friday. Henry County Public Defender Gary Bowman could not be reached for comment.
