Clayton County Magistrate Court Judge Richard Brown decided, Tuesday, to reset the date of the preliminary hearing of 19-year-old murder suspect, Errol Alexis Moore, Jr.
Moore was arrested on Oct. 7, after police say he gave them information that led them to the body of a woman believed to be Janell Crystal Aaron, 20, of Riverdale. Aaron had been missing since July.
In Tuesday's hearing, Moore's attorney, Dennis R. Scheib, who is newly appointed, explained that he had just received the case. For this reason, Scheib requested that the hearing be held at a later date, according to the district attorney's office.
Clayton County police say Moore confessed to the murder of Aaron, who is his child's mother. He faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, and concealing the death of another.
The hearing has been rescheduled for Nov. 16, at 8 a.m., according to court officials.
