McDonough Police arrested a second teenager in a case involving alleged break-ins at area homes.
Authorities arrested Andre Demarco Hartwell for allegedly stealing electronics items and jewelry from a pair of homes on Haworth Parkway. Hartwell, 18, appeared in Henry County Magistrate Court Friday, without an attorney.
Judge Robert Godwin set Hartwell's bond at $25,000, and reset a preliminary hearing in his case for Nov. 10, to allow him an opportunity to hire a lawyer.
He is charged with two counts of burglary.
The burglaries reportedly occurred Oct. 24, at 4020 and 4028 Haworth Parkway, according to the arrest warrant obtained by police Thursday.
"[Hartwell] entered ... by kicking in the front doors and removing televisions, jewelry, electronics and other personal property," the warrant states.
Another suspect, 17-year-old Tray Conderius Williams, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the same burglary case, Monday, and is in the Henry County Jail without bond.
He allegedly took a TV, a PlayStation 2 video-game system and other devices from 4028 Haworth Parkway, and stored them in a vacant residence at 4026 Haworth Parkway. Williams' bond will be set in Superior Court, according to jail records.
