Jonathan Ahrens, 71, of Riverview, Fla., passed away Oct. 31, 2010. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlottesville, Va., and Brandon, Fla. He was a retired sales representative with Southern Wine and Spirits, and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hatcher Ahrens. He is survived by his son, Byron Ahrens, and daughter-in-law, Tina Ahrens, of McDonough, parents of Rachel and Kimberly Ahrens; son, Bert Ahrens, and daughter-in-law, Madeline, of St. Petersburg, Fla., parents of Anneleise and Jarrett Ahrens; daughter, Leah Ahrens Billingsley, and son-in-law, Chris Billingsley, of Palmyra, Va., parents of Alena and Austen Billingsley; son, Dean Ahrens, of Brandon, Fla.; daughter, Dana Ahrens Heath, of Tampa, Fla., parent of Ann-Marie, Juliana and Thomas Heath. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Brandon, Fla. A graveside service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6, at Norris Memorial Gardens, Norris, Tenn.
