Mrs. Linda Diane Newman Weaver, 57, of McDonough, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Atlanta Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1953, in Atlanta, the daughter of the late Mr. Howard Newman and the late Mrs. Frances Carlisle Newman. She is survived by her daughter, Angel Moody, of McDonough; brothers, Mike Newman, of Milner, and Tommy Newman, of Five Points, Ala.; two grandsons, Billy and Devin; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m., at Brown Memorial Baptist Church, 963 Howell Mill Road, N.W., Atlanta, Ga. 30318, with the Rev. Doug Rainwater officiating. In accordance to her wishes, the body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Linda Weaver may be made to Atlanta Mission, My Sister's House, 921 Howell Mill Road N.W., Atlanta, Ga. 30318.
