Leland Baggett Patterson Leland Baggett Patterson, 88, of Greenville, Ga., formerly of Forest Park, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born April 2, 1923 in Atlanta, to the late Ernest Patterson and Lucille Parrott Patterson. He served in the United States Army Air Force. He retired from Delta as an airplane mechanic after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a founding, charter member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in Forest Park. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest S. Patterson, Jr. The funeral service is Saturday, April 9, at 11a.m., in the Chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, with Bishop Randall Hodge officiating. The interment service will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. The visitation is Saturday, from 10 to 11a.m., at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, Ga. 30263.
