Mr. William Harold Craig, 78, of McDonough, passed away April 7, 2011. He was born in McDonough, to the late A.D. Mink and Louise Woodward Craig. William graduated from McDonough High School. He as in the class of 1950. He retired after 21 years with the Army National Guards Jackson unit. He and his wife operated Craigs TV and Radio Shack for 35 years. He was a member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening and was a farmer at heart. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Adelaide Smith Craig; children, Donna (Brian) Israel, of McDonough, Harold Thomas Tom Craig, of Concord, N.C.; grandchildren, Robert Kenneth Woodward Brooks, of Locust Grove, Ga., and April Adelaide Brooks, of Atlanta; step-granddaughter, Crissy (Keith) Martin, of Covington; great-grandson, Logan James Brooks; step-great-grandchildren, Kanyn, J.J. and Simone Martin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wynsol (Maynette) Smith, of Jackson, Kenny (Stefni) Smith, of Griffin; Brenda McClure, of McDonough; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 10, at 3 p.m., from the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, 225 Plantation Road, McDonough, Ga. 30252. Elder Jerry Hunt, Jr., and the Rev. James Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in the churchs cemetery. Friends may visit the family Saturday, from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m., and from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church, American Kidney Foundation, or the Diabetes Association, in memory of Mr. Craig.
