Patti Wheless, 54, of McDonough, died Sunday, April 10, 2011. She was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, to the late Joseph Parks Adams, Jr. and Mary W. Shelnutt. Patti is survived by her mother, Mary W.Shelnutt, of McDonough; siblings, Sharen Massengill, of Newnan, Ga., Mike Adams, of Griffin, and Pete Adams, of McDonough. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, April 13, at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan McKay officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13, from noon, to 2 p.m., at the funeral home. Those who wish, may sign the online guest registry at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
