From Staff Reports
Morgan Burnett played on both sides of the football at North Clayton, lining up at quarterback, wide receiver and secondary on the defensive side of the ball.
After a stellar career with the Eagles, Burnett went on to star at Georgia Tech where he played for the Yellow Jackets for three years before jumping to the NFL a year earlier.
Burnett now plays for the Super Bowl Champions Green Bay Packer.
Today in a ceremony at 2 p.m., Burnett will have his high school jersey retired.
Burnett's rookie season in the NFL was spoiled by an injury in training camp.
