Mildred M. Foster, 83, of Stockbridge, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was born in Louisville, Ga., to the late Warren Monroe, Jr., and Mary (Bryant) Marshall. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Foster; brother, Warren Marshall; sister, Virginia Pinches. Mrs. Foster is survived by her sons, Arthur Paul Foster, of Stockbridge, John M. Foster, of Stockbridge, Thomas Daniel (Denise) Foster, of Stockbridge; brother, Fred Marshall, of Sunnyvale, Calif.; grandsons, John Daniel (Brenda) Foster, of Stockbridge, Thomas Harrison (Angela) Foster, of Conyers; great-grandson, Gavin Gregory Scott Foster, of Conyers; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, April 22, at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Those who wish, may sign the online guest registry at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
