Mundy's Mill defeats Riverdale 12-0 in region game
Mundy's Mill bounced back from its first Region 4-AAAA loss last week with a convincing 12-0 win over Riverdale Monday. Corey Harmon had a strong performance on the mound and at the plate for the fifth-ranked Tigers, who improved to 16-3 overall and 13-1 in the region. The junior was 3-for-3 at the plate with a three-run homer and had four RBIs. He also pitched three innings to get the win with three strikeouts. Also collecting multiple hits for the Tigers was John Eilum, Robert Bell and Antonio Hammonds also had multiple hits in the game. Hammonds pitched two innings and had two strikeouts. Woodland 5, Dutchtown 2: The Woodland Wolfpack improved to 13-8 overall and 7-4 in Region 3A-AAAA action with their three-run victory over Dutchtown. Charlie Stubbs and Caleb Ashbaugh each had two hits en route to the win . Dutchtown's Jeremy Arrington and James Ham finished with two hits for the Bulldogs.More like this story
