Jonesboro kept its win streak alive with a 15-5 win over Mays in a non-region game Tuesday. The Cardinals have won eight straight, including two wins against ranked opponents in the last five days.
Darion Alston got the win against Mays as the Cardinals improved to 15-5 overall. Jonesboro takes on Region 4-AAAA foe Morrow today.
On Monday, the Cardinals defeated Callaway 4-2 in a non-region game.
Callaway came into the game ranked No. 6 in Class AA.
