Bailey, Lucille George

Lucille George Bailey Lucille George Bailey, 83, of Peachtree City, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on April 28, 2011. Lucille was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Enoree, S.C., the daughter of Franklin Augustus George and Annie Mae Jones (deceased), and the sister of Charles George ( also now deceased). She is survived by three children, Emilie McLaughlin and husband, Leon, of Jonesboro; Patrice Lewis and husband, Raymond, of Birmingham, Ala., and Minor L. Bailey and his wife, Terri, of Sharpsburg, Ga.; four grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Matthew and Megan; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth George, of Valdosta, Ga. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, and an active member of Saints Alive. She worked for the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons, until her retirement in 1996. The family will receive friends TODAY (Friday, April 29), from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ga. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30, at 4 p.m., in the Chapel at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park.
