Age: 68
John Joseph Ansley, 68, a resident of Lillian, Ala., passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011. He was born in New York, and resided in Hampton, Ga., for more than 30 years. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Mr. Ansley is survived by his wife, Margaret B. Ansley, of Lillian, Ala.; son, Anthony John Ansley (Beth), of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Michelle Ansley Wagner (Andreas), of Hampton, Ga.; grandchildren, Ansley Boothe, Cody Boothe, Kyle Ansley, Blake Ansley; two step-grandchildren, Marcel Wagner, Kathrin Wagner; sister, Evelyn Garthwait, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m., from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Ala. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, at P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.
