A Henry County police officer, identified by officials at the Henry County Jail as Sgt. David Allen Ferguson, is scheduled to make his first appearance in Henry County Magistrate Court Wednesday.
Officials at the jail confirmed, Tuesday, that Sgt. Ferguson turned himself in to jail authorities, Tuesday afternoon, after law enforcement officials confirmed a warrant was issued for his arrest on burglary charges.
Maj. Jason Bolton, spokesman for the Henry County Police Department, said he could not provide any additional details regarding charges associated with the officer, at press time, Tuesday.
